SkyRecon Systems, the premier provider of integrated, proactive endpoint security solutions, today announced that Aftab Afzal has joined the SkyRecon team as Sales Manager in Europe with responsibility for managing all VAR, partner, and client relationships in the United Kingdom.  Mr. Afzal will report directly to Emmanuel Fretti, VP of Sales at SkyRecon.

Bringing 10 years of experience spanning information security solutions sales and B2B network services, Mr. Afzal most recently served as Enterprise Sales Manager at Kaspersky Lab.  In this role, he was responsible for growing the UK private and public sector client base. Prior to Kaspersky Lab, Mr. Afzal held individual contributor and management roles in Sales and Business Development at various solution providers including IP Path Ltd., a security solutions integration consultancy to the mid-market, as well as RedNet Ltd, one of the UK's first B2B ISPs.

It is at a crucial time in the market that Mr. Afzal takes the role of Sales Manager for the UK.
