The new SecureIT web site (http://secureitalliance.org) went live to the public on February 14. Visitors can browse the latest security news, information on events and explore the comprehensive Member Directory area providing listings of products, tools and services to build solutions that can be optimised and delivered through strategic partnerships. SecureIT Alliance members are also investing in early disclosure collaboration through a developer web-portal for interactive communications covering new product design, development, testing and security threat-protection scenarios. “By joining the SecureIT Alliance and gathering all the leaders in the IT security market, will allow us to enhance security solutions for customers using the Microsoft platform,” explains SkyRecon Systems CEO Ravy Truchot. “StormShield, our cutting-edge protection technology solution, is 100% Windows and .Net oriented, so this will considerably ease our collaboration within the Alliance.” “We are excited to have SkyRecon as a member of the SecureIT Alliance,” said Gerry Albert, Group Program Manager for the alliance from Microsoft. “Adaptive security tools are an integral part of defence-in-depth protection coverage, especially to help with zero-day threat scenarios. We expect through on-going collaboration with SkyRecon and other alliance members to extend this protection to Vista and future Windows operating system and run-time environments.”
