ClearShield Privacy Edition uses a select set of proven technologies from SkyRecon’s award-winning StormShield enterprise solution. ClearShield is designed to give consumers a single personal information protection product to protect their confidential files from being viewed, regardless of whether the laptop is hacked, lost, or stolen. ClearShield can thwart file theft by controlling the use of external drives and other removable devices such as MP3 players and USB thumb drives, ensuring files stay in the owner’s hands.
