SkyRecon Systems today announced it has received five out of five stars and “pick of the litter” in a group test that evaluated some ten of the market’s leading endpoint security products and published in the April issue of SC Magazine. SkyRecon’s StormShield suite was also pegged "this month's choice for recommended product."

The review specifically called out SkyRecon’s StormShield suite options for preventing keyloggers, protection against memory overflows, CPU overuse, privilege escalation and blocking of copy/paste functionality, saying the application’s security and host-based intrusion prevention system (HIPS) capabilities were among the best the reviewers had experienced.

The review also stated that StormShield is “a great solution for an organization that wants to cover all aspects of endpoint security,” and named it a “complete integrated package.” StormShield’s support for device control, encryption, anti-malware, network access control and wireless security control were identified as key features in providing comprehensive endpoint security.

StormShield received five stars in the following categories: Features, Ease of Use, Performance and Value for Money.
