Security BOX FullCrypt is a surface encryption software. Its role is to guarantee the confidentiality of all data on a user’s hard disk. In fact, Security BOX FullCrypt not only protects user data; it also protects operating system data (register base, temporary files, system files, technical files, etc.).

The Security BOX FullCrypt solution is intended for businesses looking for a user-friendly way to protect data on their employees computers. Security BOX FullCrypt runs on Windows Vista, XP and 2000.


Maximum usability

The user is authenticated before the operating system starts. Following authentication, the system starts up and runs as usual. The user does not have to perform any special action to access data; the software automatically encrypts and decrypts data in real-time.
In other words, the constant encryption/decryption is entirely invisible to the user.


In terms of security

Security BOX FullCrypt uses the AES algorithm with 256-bit keys to carry out encryption. This solution permits the strong authentication of a user when working with external cryptographic peripheral devices (smartcards, USB dongles, or bio-metrics).


Administering the solution

A special administration tool is used to manage and monitor user computers remotely, in a centralized manner. The administration tool enables the following functionalities to be used:

• Creating and managing keys.
• Parameterizing customer software.
• Installing the software application on user computers.
• Key sequestering/recovery.
• Releasing of users who were forgotten or password.
