Each year, Mercure HEC awards four entrepreneurs for their success based on criteria such as business and financial growth, management ability, international expansion and innovation. Twelve entrepreneurs had been preselected among numerous candidates in four categories: “Recent Creation”, “Project”, “Young Company” and “Take Over”. The Award underlines HEC graduates who innovate and perform in running their business.

HEC is the top French business school. The FT has published the results of its 'meta-survey' that combines the Financial Times business education rankings of 2007: within a pool of the top 60 graduate business schools in Europe, HEC Paris is ranked first, for the second year in a row, which is a testament to its full range of high quality postgraduate programmes.

Pierre Kosciusko-Morizet, founder and President of the Internet Company PriceMinister, hosted this ninth edition of the awards ceremony and presented Philippe Honigman, General Manager at SkyRecon, with the award during a special morning event in Paris. Pierre Kosciusko-Morizet received a Mercure Award in 2001 and recognizes this distinction to be a fantastic encouragement and a real jump for its company’s growth at the time.

“We are honored and delighted to receive this prestigious Award. The HEC Entrepreneur Mercure Award in the “Young Company” category demonstrates our recognition as a unique and innovative company in a very competitive market,“ stated Philippe Honigman, founder and General Manager of SkyRecon. “Unified endpoint security is new and crucial for companies today. Our integrated solution effectively has no rivals in the market. We are now ready to expand our business in the US, after two successful years in Europe. As SkyRecon opens its offices in the US, the Mercure HEC Award boosts our energy and enthusiasm. We are more eager than ever to develop our business.”
